ntly, the Lanxi East–Jiande section of the Jinhua–Jiande High-Speed Railway, constructed with the participation of China Railway No. 3 Engineering Group Co., Ltd., was officially opened to traffic.
Starting from Jinhua City, Zhejiang Province, the Jinhua–Jiande High-Speed Railway runs northward through Lanxi City and connects to the Hangzhou–Huangshan section of the Hangzhou–Nanchang High-Speed Railway at Jiande Station. With a total length of 64.51 km and a designed speed of 250 km/h, the line’s Lanxi East–Jiande section stretches 43.5 km.
China Railway No. 3 Engineering Group undertook 10.3 km of civil works and 93.73 km of track laying, including the Lanjiang Grand Bridge, the key controlling project of the whole line. With a total length of 6,538 meters, the bridge crosses rivers, roads, reservoirs and national highways at 9 locations. Its main span adopts a (100+200+100) m twin-tower, double-cable-plane prestressed concrete low-pylon cable-stayed bridge structure, spanning the main navigation channel of the Lanjiang River.
